Our story
Schott Distributing Co., Inc. is a locally owned, family-operated wholesale distributor founded in 1955, when Bill Schott acquired the Anheuser-Busch distribution rights. The business passed to the second generation, Tom, Bruce, Mike and Bernie Schott Sr. and Mary Kay Peshon, and in 2014 transitioned completely to the third generation: Kristopher Schott, Bernie Schott Jr., Ben Schott and T.J. Schott.
Today we serve Rochester, Austin, Winona, Albert Lea and the communities across an eight-county territory in southeast Minnesota, representing beers and non-alcoholic beverages from around the world through more than 61 suppliers. About 75 team members make it happen, and they are part of the communities they serve.
